Review on ๐ŸŽ’ Red Jacket US Army 3L 3 Liter Hydration Pack: Bladder Water Bag Pouch for Hiking, Climbing, Survival, and Outdoor Backpacking by Cody Stroop

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pretty cool: outdoor activities

Received today, 3 filled bottles of water to try. Wore it around the house for 5 hours to see if it's leaking. No, it went well. After reading other reviews I was nervous, but I think I found a few tricks that might help. 1st - open the back velcro to take out the inside of the bag (bladder and tube) 2nd - rinse the bladder with cold water several times 3rd - immerse full water in the bag and through the tube to get rid of the plastic taste - like Den Using hose is fine, so it has a hard plastic cap, make sure it's off. Next, you can slide the valve (not the soft tip) up and down to open and close the valve. Don't over tighten, it only goes up and down about half an inch. Now bite the tip where the two indentations are and suck (when the valve is pushed up) Close the valve to make sure it doesn't leak Ok now you understand how the bag works, place the bladder in the bag (empty) and gently slide the hose through both sides of the top shoulder hole to use. Put the lid on to keep the water out after filling. My almost 3 year old can use the water cover, it's not difficult just be patient. Don't bite too far, just the tip with the valve open. I'll let you know if it fails after a few runs. There is no place for a phone that fits me, I'd rather not risk my phone leaking and running. I use a phone holder and it works great.
