We spoiled our pup in this costume and he attracted a lot of attention and was even photographed several times. She won first place in the dog costume contest and was awarded a package of treats and toys. I'm pretty sure she would have given the costume 5 stars for that reason alone! I ordered a large size based on the size of her neck. The neck fit well, but the elastic under the belly wasn't long enough. This was an easy fix - I cut it in half and sewed on a piece of elastic to make it longer. But for this reason I lowered my rating to 4 stars. I also glued an elastic band to the temples to keep them in place as we walked around town. It worked great and they only fell off a couple of times when she shook her head. Puppy weight about 55 pounds for reference.
