I live in a townhouse suburb in the Twin Cities. The bad news is that the windows I have don't actually look at the TV towers. I tried one of the square plane antennas and it gave me uneven reception. Dropouts and pixelation seemed to be the norm. Swap this guy out and you get a very sharp image without the artifacts I had before. This is the last piece I need to cut the cable! The only downside is that it is heavy equipment. He's big and weighs quite a bit. I am currently using it with a Hauppage Cordcutter. Edit: I get a little pixelation after a few days, although this doesn't happen often. I'm using the Cordcutter applet on my Roku device and Roku decides to rebuffer whether it can go to a higher resolution or to a lower resolution. I've had both and it's short breaks.
