Butyl rubber sealant is hard to find these days. I needed this to seal my RV from winter. The first tube arrived with the nozzle cocked to the side. I was afraid that it would come off the tube when I applied it. Naturally. Halfway through the job, the nozzle broke the end of the cardboard tube, making it unusable. Ordered a replacement tube and it also seems to be attached poorly to the aluminum plug on the seal tube. This sealant is thick and sticky, so it takes some pressure to squeeze it out of the tube. It would be advisable for the manufacturer to switch to a one-piece plastic gasket tube for this product.
