I like the size of this flashlight and it has a lot of power for its size, but that's also a downside. If you're using it as a fill light for an interview, you need to find a way to diffuse it. It comes with a diffuser panel that is transparent and warm, but transparent enough to allow the LEDs to be seen through, making it feel like you're looking into a flashlight. It also doesn't have the best build quality. The hot shoe adapter is a bit too big, making it difficult to put on and take off the standard hot shoe if you want to mount it on your DSLR, and the brightness control on the back only increases the brightness for the first 1/3 of it's travel. I wish it had better dimming control with more range between dark and light.
