Install this with Samsung MS650 Soundbar. The combination of subwoofer and soundbar is fine. I wanted to be excited, but the bass seems very thin. Don't get me wrong, it's an attractive box and the wireless setup was easy and works well. I was just expecting more bass for the soundbar volume levels we're hearing. UPDATE-6/2018 (downgrading to two stars) Sometimes I noticed that when I try to play the soundbar at higher volume, the wireless subwoofer cuts out. The subwoofer "Motorboot" (continuous, low-frequency "put"-"put"-"put") then simply switches off. The subwoofer will then flash the blue LED in the center of the base continuously. I thought it might be because of the proximity to the soundbar. So I put the subwoofer right under the soundbar and without any obstruction. Same problem. I will try to keep updating the firmware but if this continues I will contact Samsung for warranty repair. Disappointed with it. Sounds like a wireless subwoofer should just work. Plug it in, connect it to your Samsung soundbar and it should work. You don't have to worry about the distance to the soundbar when you're in the same room. You don't have to worry about updating the firmware. UPDATE June 2018 - Firmware updated via Samsung Multiroom app and Soundbar WiFi setting. This appears to have helped stop the "motorized" subwoofer. Soundbar and subwoofer from Samsung sound good together. Back to 4 stars.
