Review on 🎧 Ultimate Listening Experience: Audio Technica ATHM50 Studio Monitor Headphones - Coiled Cable, White Color by Tutan Beatz

As good as M50S

I have had ATH-M50S cans for two years now and love them. I didn't like the tangle-prone straight cord and decided to buy a new set. When I saw the white ones, I had to have them. Adapts perfectly to the body of the Slappa SL-HP-01; You'll have to bend them a bit, but that should be fine. I don't get rid of the ones I have, I keep them in case the cat chews through their cord. I wish they had an easily swappable cable like some of the Sennheisers I've had. However. They don't sound quite as good as my well-seasoned M50S set yet, but the sound is there and they are exactly how I initially remember my old ones. The cups are softer than my old ones and fit even better. There's a subtle leak at the volume I'm listening at. I squeezed the cups together and turned up the volume on my baby face and heard almost nothing. Solid overview as other reviewers have been more thorough: Low frequencies are solid but not overwhelming. However, if you have an EQ and like heavy music with bass, they do an excellent job of reproducing sub-bass. The mids are neither harsh nor nasal, but in my experience rather pleasant and soft. High frequencies aren't harsh, but they're not very shiny either. Cymbals sound spacious and shimmering, very good highs. I tend to think it's other hardware that makes some people find these things fragile. At the moment, these are the best closed-back headphones in terms of value for money, and they rival pricier headphones. You won't get the soundstage of the Grado SR80i, but they are closed and really designed for critical studio monitoring listening. They just sound great for general listening.
