I purchased these socks based on reviews as I wanted something waterproof for hiking a small portion of The Narrows in Zion. Based on reviews, it states the socks are waterproof below the cuff, however this was not my experience. I could tell water found it’s way in somehow and my feet were wet and cold. Even once back on dry land, I could felt the shriveled nature of my wet toes rubbing blisters within the squishy socks. Sure enough once I took my socks off water poured out of them. For the price, it’s not worth it. I’m really bummed because these socks stayed up on my legs the entire day and looked nice.
