Chaotic. Not suitable for table salt.
Bought as a table salt shaker. The holes are too big and too numerous for Morton's table salt. Without shaking, just turn it upside down and a heap of salt will flow out continuously for a few seconds. Also, 1/8 teaspoon of salt will get trapped between the lid and shaker and spill when you unscrew the lid. Shaker that splashes when unscrewed.
