Review on Aurora AS810SD Strip-Cut Paper, CD, and Credit Card Shredder with 8-Sheet Capacity & Spacious Basket for Efficient Shredding by Marc Zitnik

I'm a bit disappointed with this paper shredder. I bought it for my mother for Christmas 2015. It came in a well packed box, brand new. I thought it would help her not to cut important papers with scissors and it really is. But it is advertised that it can hold up to 4 pages when folded. The papers my mother tries to shred are mostly old bills, so they're not very thick. She tried 4 sides like I told her and she said it jammed right away. Then I told her to try three, two, and finally one when it stopped sticking. I thought, she must be doing something wrong? So I approached and indeed it quickly jammed when I tried. May be, was it a returned block or is it not working as advertised? Mom rejoices, which makes it more convenient for her, even if it only takes one leaf at a time. UPDATE 02/10/18. This device gets stuck trying to destroy a page of an old bill. Turning on reverse and forward turning doesn't help either? Doesn't it look like she's been using it regularly and her front teeth have become dull? Still works with scissors, just annoying that it can't cut one side at a time.
