No Backpack - Hiking Only

Full Disclosure: I had no idea how big this backpack really was. This sounds weird, but the product photos don't accurately reflect the actual size of the backpack in my opinion. I should have checked the measurements before ordering but I saw "Daypack" in the description and thought this was what I was looking for. Imagine my surprise when I opened the package and unpacked this much larger backpack than I expected. This is NOT a backpack. This is strictly a travel backpack. As a travel backpack, it has many great features with different compartments. It easily fits everything you need for a one or two night trip. it's too long for me I'm a petite woman at 5ft 1in and 110lbs and the top of this backpack is banging on my head. Fully loaded I think this backpack will be very uncomfortable for me. with him. I took it on an 18 mile hike (with a different backpack) and it worked fine. While I probably can't use the pack itself as a touring pack or day pack, the hydration pack is a win. .
