I had a knee prosthesis and needed support for a bowling tournament 3 months post surgery. I have ordered a few knee pads and knee pads of all kinds but could not find one that suited my needs. I decided to try this as a last try and it fit the bill! This sleeve is slightly thicker than a regular neoprene sleeve, so the brain perceives it as more support. I also liked that the patella opening was large enough. With many others I notice that the hole is smaller. I also really appreciate the hole or less material on the back so assembly is practically minimal. It also fits me very well and the little handles on it to pull it up are much appreciated! I was able to win the tournament with this case and I love this case!
