Review on Vunvooker Enclosure Adapter Aluminum Docking by Marcelo Montalvo

All in one dock, M2 drive option is a nice touch

First thing I want to say is that this does NOT come with installing M2 drives. You must purchase this separately. First, the case works pretty well once you have all the drives connected. You can mount any m2 NVME drives in it and it will be automatically detected when you connect. Make sure you have the correct installation disk. I will say that the setup for this is pretty easy. The board is pretty secure in the case and all you have to do is unscrew four screws and slide the motherboard out, which is pretty easy. You don't have to use your nails to pull it out as you can just push the board out at the other end. You need to loosen the screw that secures the hard drive. After that, you can simply install the drive. However, once you've protected it, it's not going anywhere. It doesn't have a heatsink or anything, so your drive won't have the same cooling as many others, but I haven't seen any heat issues other than getting a bit warm during power up and transfer. Please note that it only includes ONE cable as it is for MAC. Type c to type c cable. I tried using the adapter to see if it works on my USB-A devices and it does. I'm not a fan of the supplied Type-C cables as the head does wiggle a bit, not sure why. The problem is that it can break much sooner than other cables. The case itself is metal, it's prone to scratches, but it comes with a case to protect it. This is a simple bag. It is lightweight and you can easily carry it in your pocket or backpack if you wish. I shook it a few times to see if the drive wobbled, but the inside is holding up pretty well. The transfer speed is pretty fast. You see an average of 160 to 140 MB/s. I can transfer a lot of data quickly and don't have to worry about overheating. I've tried USB ports and they work very well. I had all USB and HDMI ports and had no connection issues. It should be noted that no data is cloned or backed up in the process. Overall I think this dock works fairly well with SATA M2 drives, but again installing the drive can be a bit of a hassle and the Type-C cable is poorly constructed, again wiggling like a loose tooth at the end of the cable . All ports work pretty well so I don't have to worry about connection issues. So you have both drive and hub in one, so you don't have to carry anything around.
