Where have you been all my life?

To be honest I wish they did this when I was a teenager. I've always wanted something better to cover my butt when I'm in the pool or at the lake. As a teenager, it meant swimming in my dad's oversized t-shirts, and in college (in a coastal state) the best thing I could do was find boys' shorts, which definitely weren't made for uniforms. It wasn't until I was in my 30s that women's board shorts became something I could actually find, and even then they were often designed for petite, skinny things rather than curvy hourglass figures like mine. It was a constant struggle to find something practical, cute, flattering and unassuming. I'm currently in my 40's, mother of three, and I need to be able to take care of my kids without cellulite and extra body parts sticking out while still showing my daughter that it's possible to be humble and sweet its same time. While I don't believe in wearing leggings instead of pants, I think they're a great idea as swimwear because they don't fill up with water like shorts do and everything stays closed and in place. I love that I can wear them while swimming in the river and playing in the lake without scratching the bushes and rocks and still feel cute in the pool or hot springs. My sister recently ordered a pair and I just ordered another pair as a gift for my mom. Now I'll have to see if I can find something similar for my youngest daughter!
