We used this as a chair for our child when he was homeschooled. It's such a great choice. We could adjust the inflation to your height and the height of your desk. She bounced around a bit when she squirmed, but was stable when she needed/wanted to stay still. We bought one with a chair base for our other child (5x the price) and ended up removing the base and just using the ball that came with it. So - without a base there were no problems. Our child loves this chair. During breaks, she jumped around the room, which added to her physical play (which was difficult with remote learning). Very happy with this purchase.
