This is how the bed is turned runs smaller than I had planned, it has about the right length, but is a bit narrower in width. This is still a decent size for a medium-sized 40-pound dog. Very soft but I covered it with a blanket. In my experience, the fabric on the underside of this bed tears when machine washed, so I just throw a blanket over it to keep it clean. My dog doesn't like regular beds with raised sides so this is perfect. I would probably pay a lot more for a pet store bed like this, so I'm happy with the price. In terms of shipping/packaging, the packaging was terrible. I was very disappointed that this bed arrived in a bag and wrapped in duct tape. Inside the pocket was another pocket tied with 2 knots. The bed is very crumpled.
