This is how the bed is turned runs smaller than I had planned, it has about the right length, but is a bit narrower in width. This is still a decent size for a medium-sized 40-pound dog. This bed is great. My dog is hard on almost everything and thinks his beds are chew toys. This bed was a test for her, it has held up better than others I've tried. My kitten is quite large and loves to lie on my desk and help me with my computer work.
