My kitten is quite large and loves to lie on my desk and help me with my computer work. But lately she's been stretching and rolling a few times and finally managed to roll completely off the table the other day - luckily I caught her but she could have hurt herself falling backwards. Then I saw this big rug with very strong pads which she likes a lot and when she stretches the sides prevent her from rolling off the table. I agree the bottom is slippery so I put it on a piece of sticky closet liner and put a nice pillowcase on the bottom because it looks like it could be quite warm and the pillowcase will keep you cool and should also help with laundry issues help which I noted in other comments. And it came in one day! In general I am very satisfied and will not worry so much about the cat when it grows up. Thank you for a great solution to a terrible problem.
