Approximately 10 years. Bought several from different companies. Everything seems a lot cheaper than it was a few years ago. I don't know why they put these smooth floor surfaces under the floor these days too. Everyone has what I bought. I had to cut out a piece of non-slip multipurpose surface underneath to keep it from sliding off the shelf the cat is resting on. This one was the best - chose the green one - with a strong beaded rim. Other edges were weak. Too weak for a cat that likes to use the edge of a bookcase by the window. But there was more filler in this role, I think. Doesn't fall out when washed.
