I've been using this backpack for a month. I travel weekly out of town for both business and pleasure. This is an amazingly useful and well designed backpack. The pack looks simple and modern as the name suggests, but its features are exceptional. My 15 inch laptop fits easily in the laptop bag. The soft-lined top pocket protects glasses and headphones while still being easily accessible. There are also two external side pockets, two internal zipped side pockets and a rear compartment around the large main compartment. Most impressive is the zipper in the main compartment. The main compartment has 4 zippers. You can easily access the main compartment from either side or from the top by simply unzipping the short section of the zip. It's hard to explain, but once you see it, you'll be surprised that not all backpacks have it. I don't have any long term experience yet. The backpack looks solid, made of good materials. It has non-rigid foam sides that preserve the backpack's slim shape. In general I am very satisfied. I've been wearing this pack every day for a month and so far there have been no ill effects. I have 4 other packs that I have used over the years. This Simple/Modern Wanderer Pack is by far my favorite.
