I've been a professional beautician for thirty-one years. I have to say this is the best low power travel hair dryer I have ever had. I bought it to use when traveling in a camper van. I wasn't expecting much considering it was eight hundred and fifty watts less than my salon dryer. I was pleasantly surprised by its power. And it is very well made of smooth non-slip plastic. It also comes with a directional mount, but if you're going to use it you'll want to use it on its lowest setting. A high speed setting will dry thick or long hair evenly, although I would suggest dividing your hair into sections and drying each section (starting with the bottom section) and then dropping the next section and working your way to the last and front section. Thin or thin hair will not be a problem. It's very easy. And very small, but uncomfortable in the hand. The handle portion is approximately 3.5 inches long. The low wattage (125VAC, 60Hz, 1000W) means it won't draw too much power in an RV. I've tried other brands of hair dryers with lower wattage (800 or 850 watts) and they barely blow cold air. I hope this helps those looking for an efficient travel hair dryer. I just wish it came with a small drawstring holdall. Otherwise it's perfect!
