These hangers are not what I expected and I think are a bit overpriced. Yes, they can bent to avoid shoulder marks but the material the hanger handle is made of is very smooth and slippery so I kept finding my stuff on the floor also forget it if you want to wrap the ends of the hangers around to prevent items from falling off like underwear with thin straps. You'll come back and find that your stuff is at the bottom of the closet. The mechanism in the middle that holds the arm of the hanger doesn't keep the arm in place (too lots of play).That way it doesn't stop it from rotating downwards which creates a downward gradient.I was very disappointed and had to send them back but I did I didn't care. They take up space in my closet (and they're quite bulky) and I only use them for very light clothing as they're only good for that. Every time I tried to put on thick sweaters, they just fell off. The only way I could keep my sweaters on the hanger was to "pin it to the foam substance" or keep the shoulder of the hanger so perfectly straight---?---then what's the purpose for the I bought them (removing the shoulder marks). Save your money and look for something better.
