I wanted a small bookcase shelf light to use as a USB power station and it works great. The metal neck is strong enough to stand upright. When bent in any direction, it stayed there and stuck to the USB charger. Interesting and useful lamp. There is no switch so I added a cheap plug switch. The case is heated, but not critical. Would buy again.
