They are charming and practical.
They're wonderfully retro and modern at the same time. I grind the kosher salt and peppercorns separately in a food processor so it's fine enough for the holes. (But that's just me.) Using regular table salt and pepper works great. I also bought a set for my daughter to match the color of her kitchen. She loves them too! Very cute for campers, boats and the table. And they don't look cheap.
