My adult daughter bought these and is writing a review. She says: Hello ladies! I have a fixed size 14 (below). I'm only 5'7" shy, have a pear shape and an athletic body (with fuller legs). These board shorts fit me perfectly. The length is PERFECT, they don't climb on me when I walk which I appreciate. The fabric was the perfect weight and the waist adjustability (it ties together and has velcro) was PERFECT for cinching my small waist, wish I had had them 3 times when I went to Hawaii I didn't have to go up a size. I chose 14. They have a small head start and that was enough for my needs so I give it a thumbs up.
