Bought this to replace my mum's horrible car charging cables. Combined with the Type-C fast charging adapter, she told me that this whole setup changed everything for her. Conforms to power distribution standards and is extremely reliable. I used the same cable with her a month ago and it was worth it. Buy the right charger or use it with a known good USB 3.1 interface and it will work reliably. I also checked the data transfer speed and it met expectations. Edit: My original review is July 28, 2020. I'm now posting my October 2022 review. This cable still works great in my mom's car and I borrow her car more times than I'd like to admit. The USB PD standards still work well and I haven't had any issues with the connector ends loosening or unplugging, which is common with everyday use of other connectors. I recommend this product for charging. I did not measure the data rate.
