Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Effortlessly Comfortable: Propet Women's Wash N Wear Slip On Ll Walking Shoe by Charlotte Manning

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works with all my accessory inserts and holds up well

I like these because I have horrible feet (plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis, bone spurs etc) and I use 2 arch supports, gel pads etc to lift the arch of the foot and tilt Step your foot back toward the outside edge, rather than leaning in that far. This shoe has a high enough forefoot to hold everything and still hit. It also has a hard, stiff heel and side to cushion the Ortho's outward tilt so I don't over-sole in the shoe. Square. Because of this, ordinary canvas shoes wear out quickly. And since they are worn, I don't have to tie my shoelaces all day. Most sliding things either don't stay because the forefoot isn't high enough to hold them, or they're too tight after I built in all the extra supports. So I mostly have to tie and then struggle with loose laces. . The velcro works well but I'm not thrilled with it as it doesn't stick anymore over time. I get them smooth leather so they can be rubbed down and polished as needed. Suede starts to age pretty quickly, especially if the shoe is worn indoors and out every day like I do. The cost is more than I want to spend, but considering how often I wear them and my particular difficulty in finding the right shoes, it's worth it to me. They last a long time. In fact, my first pair, which I bought about 3 years ago, still look good on the outside. I replaced them because there are holes on the inner sidewall in the heel area, worn out from constant rubbing of orthopedic insoles.
