Keeps your phone in your pocket

I've had it for a couple of weeks now so can't comment on its longevity/durability. I ordered it to keep my phone out of my pocket - recently upgraded to an iPhone XR and I feel like it's a very fragile device, plus it has ultra high radiated power (Specific Absorption Rate or SAR) so yes , I don't like having it parked that close to my man parts and figured a holster would be better than having the phone in my hand all the time. Pros: - seems pretty well constructed for what it is - the softer part of the velcro is on the flap; The spikes are on the outside of the case, so there's no risk of scratching the screen unless you're holding the flap with one hand while pulling the phone out with the other. - fairly wide belt loop that won't constrain you with thin belts - iPhone XR fits UAG Monarch case perfectly. Inserting or removing your phone from this case is easy. The phone doesn't rattle inside; It's neat and reliable and never feels like it's going to fall out. Not so good: it flexes a bit; is not rigid. It's a double-edged sword because if it were stiffer it would hurt you to bend down or sit down, but it also means it wouldn't be a good idea to leave your phone in it when you're driving or sitting in one Car. Auto, as your phone will bend and eventually suffer bending damage (note: this does not mean your phone will or will remain visibly bent, but the internal circuit board will bend and snap back causing problems). I remove my phone from this case before getting into a car or before sitting on anything other than a high stool. Even when the phone isn't with you, it still hugs you snugly when you sit down, so you'll always know the holster. Is there anything that makes it (or others who like it) better? I'd say something like a long bladed knife sheath with a high belt loop, but the actual part that holds the device is underneath so it can move up and down with your movement so the device doesn't bend you or pinches leg or waist when sitting, bending, or moving. Overall this is a very good phone holster and I am happy with it. If only I could be happy with a terrible iPhone.
