Review on 🍞 KitchenAid Spiral Coated Dough Hook for KV25G and KP26M1X Bowl-Lift Models: Upgrade Your Baking Experience! by Wayne Laguna

Where has this thing been all my life?

I have been baking bread every week for many years, as well as other baked goods that require dough. The standard C-hook that always came with Kitchenaid stand mixers was sorely lacking. The dough is not kneaded, but kneaded. And they tend to (and unless you look closely) pull the dough over the top of the hook and twist it around the nozzle stem and spring. What a pain to clean! I have a vintage (1984) Kitchenaid Hobart K5SS lift mixer, it's a real workhorse. (I love that old trusty stuff, don't I?) I've always hated that "C" hook. I also have an old K45SS hook that has the same problem with the standard and unloved "C" test hook. I bought this coated spiral dough hook and it works great in my K5SS! It partially lifts the dough, then pushes it back into the bowl and actually kneads the dough! There is no longer a need for dough to rise to the top of the nozzle, or hand kneading dough that is not well mixed. I LOVE this spiral dough hook. And it's coated so it's easy to clean and won't rust or blacken like uncoated ones. Now I need to find one for my 1980 Kitchenaid Hobart K45SS blender!
