As someone who has bought Yamaha subwoofers in the last two decades, this is the first time I am compelled to give a negative review. In short (and I'll leave the rest to the attached video), this sub was really disappointing in terms of breaking down too early. As someone else mentioned as a problem, this subwoofer started popping and popping, rendering it pretty much useless. I have a second Yamaha subwoofer that is about 10 years older than this one and it still works great. I've spent a lot of money on this new subwoofer and just want to warn others that they might consider another subwoofer option.
