Fast bass, perfect for EDM.

Incredibly clear and dense base. This is perfect for music and possibly movies. Use the NS-SW300 as the main woofer and the Yamaha YST-315 as a secondary woofer behind your sofa. Incredible combination of downward and forward-firing subwoofers. They are paired with a Yamaha RX-V73. Love it!

Sounds amazing, deep, smooth bass and louder than expected!

Sounds amazing, bass is smooth with transitions in music and movies. The switch on the back for movie/music selection also made a noticeable difference. I had to turn off the sound because the volume was drowning out my music! (It's time to upgrade the speakers). I had pretty high expectations for this thing and it exceeded them all. The only downside was that it didn't come with a cable to connect to my Yamaha receiver to connect the rest of my surround sound. System. Luckily I had an empty…

Yamaha Oh Yamaha! JUST LOVE IT!

I've had this box for two years now and it looks brand new. It has an elegant piano black finish that is gorgeous. The sound is amazing. In the back I set it as music, not movie, so the base spreads out better. It plugs directly into my TV and turns on when my TV volume goes up and turns off when the TV volume goes down again. It is very comfortable. This price is higher than other models because it is a superior product in terms of hardware and sound quality. PROS: QUALITY and BEAUTY CONS: No

Nice subwoofer with bad durability issues. Do not buy.

As someone who has bought Yamaha subwoofers in the last two decades, this is the first time I am compelled to give a negative review. In short (and I'll leave the rest to the attached video), this sub was really disappointing in terms of breaking down too early. As someone else mentioned as a problem, this subwoofer started popping and popping, rendering it pretty much useless. I have a second Yamaha subwoofer that is about 10 years older than this one and it still works great. I've spent a lot

Big bass! You will not be disappointed.

Bought this Yamaha subwoofer to replace our Samsung subwoofer which failed after 2 years and this guy is 3 times better than the subwoofer. Also, it has an adjustable frequency so you can dial in the mids if you need to. Ideal for watching movies when connected to our entertainment system. Tune in to internet radio or just FM stations and fill your home with music. We have a living room that is 25ft by 35ft and has no issues with rattling throughout the room. In fact, we only turn it on between

An excellent subwoofer outperforms devices twice as expensive!

I bought this Yamaha NS-SW300 subwoofer to replace a reference Klipsch subwoofer whose electronics failed after 3 years. Yamaha sells for 1/2 the Klipsch price list. Klipsch and Yamaha subwoofers were connected to a Yamaha YSP-5600 receiver/soundbar via an RCA audio cable, using the LFE connector on the subwoofer. In every test I tried, the Yamaha delivered more accurate bass sound. From deep vocal resonances to the roar of hot rods and motorcycles to the growl of space combat engines and the…
