Bought this Yamaha subwoofer to replace our Samsung subwoofer which failed after 2 years and this guy is 3 times better than the subwoofer. Also, it has an adjustable frequency so you can dial in the mids if you need to. Ideal for watching movies when connected to our entertainment system. Tune in to internet radio or just FM stations and fill your home with music. We have a living room that is 25ft by 35ft and has no issues with rattling throughout the room. In fact, we only turn it on between 1/4 and 1/2 to fill the room with clean, undistorted bass. I also like the auto-off feature, if it doesn't detect a bass signal from the receiver, the subwoofer goes into sleep mode. As soon as he sees the signal again, boom, the bass kicks in with no problem. For the little extra money this subwoofer costs over others I've heard or reviewed on the market, it's totally worth it.
