I bought about 6 of these. I made my own LED lights in my kitchen which are amazing! In return, I started helping friends and family contribute some money. Somehow I became the queen of soldering. (Thanks to YouTube, I've never soldered before and Revain provided me with the tools!) The power supply should only be used with 1 roll or 16 foot LEDs. I wanted more light and fewer power supplies, which costs less money, right? I added an additional 8-10 feet to the existing 16 feet and left the lights on for a while. Well, the power adapter worked fine, but it just got really hot. Starting a fire on my cabinets wasn't planned or in the budget, so I unplugged the extra lighting and used a different power source. In short, use the recommended length of LEDs and this power supply will work just fine.
