2ND UPDATE! Almost 2 years later and I'm still going strong! Make no mistake, this is a very durable product! especially for the price! I highly recommend purchasing this product if you need any type of pull rod. My husband added a closet to our bedroom. Trouble is, he's not done yet and who knows when he will! So I decided to stop whining and bought this big curtain instead of doors for now. I didn't want to damage the wall so I decided to buy a pull rod. After reading some reviews I was nervous that it wouldn't hold a 100W x 108L curtain but for the price I thought it was worth a try. This tie rod is fantastic! I didn't have any installation issues like some others. I just followed the instructions and everything was ready in 3 minutes! Has been working for a month now with no problems. It holds a super heavy curtain and gets a lot of use throughout the day. I am very satisfied and recommend this product! Update: The bad news is I still don't have my husband's closet door. The GOOD news is that this pull bar still works! I half expected something to happen as there were a TON of bad reviews but this rod totally exceeded my expectations. As mentioned above, it is used to hold a heavy-duty blackout curtain in a 6ft (width x 8ft, 5in) room. Didn't move, not even a little. I am very impressed with this rod and would not believe any of the negative reviews. I followed the instructions for the tee. Although I didn't hear a click, I made sure I rotated it enough. to make sure it was in place. I admit I was very nervous after reading some of the reviews but the reviews couldn't be more wrong. Don't even hesitate, buy this rod! UPDATE: over a year later, STILL RUNNING! Hasn't moved an inch with daily heavy use!
