Review on 2XU Element Jacket Black XX Large by Derrick Wilson

Pros: Overall this is a good jacket, it fits well and is comfortable. Cons: Too expensive. I have bought other similar jackets cheaper. The little spring clips used to tighten the cords on the hood are junk. You don't have enough spring pressure to hold the cables in place after you tighten them. They glide with very little effort. When the wind whips up the hood, the cord clips slip and the hood falls off my head. I cut the wires and removed the clips on each end of the hood and replaced the clips with better ones I bought (a whole two dollar bag) and some connectors. Now it works very well. You would think that because of the high price of this item they wouldn't put such crappy little cable holders on it. Otherwise I like everything else.
