However this product worked for me without incident but blue was a nightmare. The yellow, specifically marked as 'compatible', worked without incident, but the 'restored' black initially 'bleeded' after a few uses. I think you get what you pay for and then sometimes you get lucky. I guess I got lucky with this but I'll probably buy an original HP brand from Staples with a coupon to replace this cartridge. I'll probably continue to buy the yellow as a refurbished or compatible as it's light enough that there aren't any signs of leakage. Blue shows a lot and magenta can show a lot. I have plenty left in the black of course, so I'll decide later what to replace it with. Overall I gave it 4 stars because it worked great for me as luck would have it, not 5 because I think the 'retail packaging' label is misleading.
