Full Disclosure - I've only used this a couple of times so I can't confirm how long/well this works after being hit in my backpack. While it works well - the picture is good but a bit dull - the colors are okay, but I wasn't looking for the best picture in the world when I bought it, I was looking for a cheap travel monitor. In that context, it's a 4/5 star monitor. If you want something with a nice resolution and picture then you need a 3/5 monitor.
