I have a very high bed and an older cat that needs help. Do you know that cats can be very mean and stubborn and refuse to use things they don't like? I first made homemade ladders out of cardboard to see if she would consider the ladders and she loved it but they looked awful and started breaking so I decided to switch to real pet ladders. I put her next to the boxes for her to test and hopefully didn't generate resistance to use, a few days later I took the boxes and now the real testing began! Will it adopt a cat? cat rebellion? And we had a winner! They arrived in perfect condition, they're sturdy enough for my fat cat, I think she's 12-13 pounds, and they don't slip on hardwood floors. I was concerned that the width of the steps might be narrow to make her descent comfortable, but she had no problems. The photo I've attached shows the expression on her face as I pushed the steps away from the bed to reach something and she was very concerned and slightly upset that they wouldn't be coming back.
