Weight Limit for Car Travel

My 10 year old dog is tired of jumping in cars and I was afraid lifting it would hurt his back as he is over 50 pounds. I have these steps for a 7 day trip and they are awesome! She quickly got used to it and used it several times a day to get in and sometimes out of her car. I also use them to lift them onto a loft bed. Please note that the steps can slip so I usually put my foot on them. I'm a little concerned that the tabs securing the folding legs might break as they feel fragile, so I only

Agreed with adjustments

I have a corgi. That means short legs. She can't get up on things like other dogs (double blessing) so I figured a dog ladder would be better than having to get her up all the time. After three dog flights back I finally reluctantly decided to leave this one. With customization. For being so expensive for what you get, it's pretty damn basic. It slides across my hardwood floor. To give it weight, we glued some heavy-duty screws and washers into the inside corners closest to the bottom. See…

Cat acceptance test passed!

I have a very high bed and an older cat that needs help. Do you know that cats can be very mean and stubborn and refuse to use things they don't like? I first made homemade ladders out of cardboard to see if she would consider the ladders and she loved it but they looked awful and started breaking so I decided to switch to real pet ladders. I put her next to the boxes for her to test and hopefully didn't generate resistance to use, a few days later I took the boxes and now the real testing…

Human and pet removal

This ladder finally reaches our loft bed. I no longer have to pull our dog and stretch the next morning thinking I've pulled something. The ladder is delivered assembled. The footrest simply snaps into place. They also fold up so we can tuck them under the bed if needed. The only complaint I have is that I got up and kicked her because I forgot they were by the bed for Mr Wiggles, 80lbs. barking potato sack. Don't worry before you radiate sympathy for me and my dainty fingers, I got through…

Love the idea but not for big dogs!

I feel so bad I'm even writing about my beloved 13 1/2 year old black Labrador Retriever's experience with this product. for a while and somehow i thought it might help. (Yes) Kona used to have a standard sized 3-step cat claw ladder that seemed to work well for her (Kona). I thought I would be of some help to her with these "gentle" steps (literally). not figuring out how to climb onto her royal dog sofa; They were clearly made for dogs with (much) shorter legs as she slipped on the floor and…
