My 10 year old dog is tired of jumping in cars and I was afraid lifting it would hurt his back as he is over 50 pounds. I have these steps for a 7 day trip and they are awesome! She quickly got used to it and used it several times a day to get in and sometimes out of her car. I also use them to lift them onto a loft bed. Please note that the steps can slip so I usually put my foot on them. I'm a little concerned that the tabs securing the folding legs might break as they feel fragile, so I only fold the legs if I have to. Overall a good product and a real game changer for me.
