I bought these shoes after doing extensive research online looking for shoes - 'sneakers' - that are good for running without being bulky or to look dated to some competing brands. The fit is perfect for the most part - I wear a 9-1/2 D. The shoes are not tight, even brand new - my foot slides in them with basically no problem. There's plenty of room for my toes - previous walkers have actually pinched my toes. On the other hand, they don't hang out and don't hang out. Like I said, perfect fit. On the other hand, I developed a small blister on the middle toe of one foot. I fixed this by lacing the shoes tighter and switching to a sportier insole. Overall, I am delighted with this shoe and can only recommend it. I'm considering buying a second pair.
