Review on 🔧 Avid Elixir Pad Spreader Tool - Pack of 2 by Mark Caperton

A very handy little tool for spreading brake pads on disc brake mountain bikes. If you accidentally apply the brake lever with the wheel off, the pads will need to be spread apart before you can reinsert the rotor into the brake to re-tighten the wheel. This simplifies the task: just slide two teeth down into the caliper between the two pads. Useful when inserting new spacers as these will likely need to be distributed as well. Very handy little thing!
