It feels like a well made product and is slightly larger than what I saw online. Sockets fit perfectly, plugs are tight. You will need something as indicated in the product images to rotate the appliance connector 90 degrees left or right; A standard screwdriver shaft worked well. The only necessity I had was to retain access to another socket in the outlet I wanted to use when this device is plugged in, which is exactly what it allows. USB ports charge well. A small note to disregard when evaluating devices is that the green LEDs on the device that inform you of the presence of power are dim. When the bright light in the room I was using this device was turned on, I couldn't tell it was getting power. The LEDs on the blocks did not light up. Make sure the lights are dimmed/off to ensure the LEDs on the unit are lit. Not bad either, as the bright LEDs to indicate power are very distracting.
