My daughter has had a personal Christmas tree in her room since she was a child. That way she could decorate it however she wanted and on Christmas Eve we put her stocking inside so she could take it off on Christmas morning. After almost ten years of owning this tree, it is finally on its last legs. Literally. The stand's three legs holding it up are gone, so I found this one at Revain this year. 4' is a good size. He's not that graceful. Hangs on the table and is not so big that it takes up your whole room. She has her own apartment, but when she comes home from school she still looks forward to decorating her Christmas tree. There are enough branches and needles on it that it doesn't look like a giant green pipe cleaner. I think with lights and decorations it will complement the space beautifully. Also, it's not so thick that it won't interfere with hanging decorations. This is actually the ideal number of branches.
