This is intended to replace an incandescent lamp. It certainly isn't! Incandescent bulbs don't care about polarity, but this bulb MUST, because the manufacturer was too cheap to put a rectifier in it. Turning on the rectifier would have been worth the extra nickels! If that part is not fully compatible with the part it is intended to replace, then it is garbage engineering that has resulted in a garbage product. It's unusual to retrofit a 6V flashlight with a 6V LED bulb like this. A simple reverse polarity warning in the details, which Revain hides by default, is unacceptable. You're leaving anyone in the dark with wiring other than what you arbitrarily chose. Besides, what normal person would know or care how their light is wired inside?
