The perfect product for any user!

Three months ago I bought this hard drive for my home file storage.
Despite the fact that the Purple series is positioned as carriers for video surveillance systems, they are quite suitable for home use.
As I wrote above, before that I had the same 4 TB hard drive, but an older version, WD40PURX. It has been running for more than two years without shutting down; gave it to his father, and bought myself a newer version, without further ado when choosing. A proven model.
I compared for the sake of interest how much they differ in terms of performance, and in terms of design.
It turned out that the differences are noticeable: the new disk is faster, and the design has changed (see photos and screenshots).
I hope the new disc performs as well as the old one.

Pros

Fast, very quiet, cold. Noticeably faster than its predecessor WD40PURX in CrystalDiskMark test (I had the opportunity to compare the old and new version of the hard drive in this series, and I did). The old disk proved to be the best way, and therefore I bought the same, but a newer version. I hope this one is no worse.
