Good price but wrong instructions.

I bought a 2000 silhouette on an Oldsmobile. Programming instructions were online so I printed them out and started programming FOB. The instructions are easy to understand, but an error crept in at step 2. Step 2 will prompt you to remove the MALL/BCM PGM backup. I have a MALL backup and a BCM-PGM backup so I removed both. My machine wouldn't go into programming mode and support couldn't help. After about an hour I decided to experiment and replaced the MALL fuse. BINGO!. The machine went into programming mode and the key fob was programmed as it should.
