While I like the look of this kettle, the spout cap became incorrect/would not close in less than a week, causing the whistling to stop and the cook time to increase. This morning, less than 2 months after purchase, the spout lid stopped closing and stayed fully open. This is what I use once every morning and take care of. This is one of the worst quality items I have bought in a long, long time and such a disappointment. And waste of money. *After reading this review they sent me a new one for free and I haven't had any problems with it yet. It's been about 2 months.
