Bought this player specifically for my 3 year old granddaughter to use in the car. The first two times we used it, it worked well on smooth roads, but when I had it in my car on a three-hour drive over some pretty bumpy roads, it proved useless. It kept skipping and she couldn't see her movie after the first ten minutes of our ride. That being said, if you don't plan on using it in your car, this is a decent player. Also, it is not formatted in full screen mode. So if you can't set up your DVD in full screen mode, you need to watch it in wide screen format. The picture quality is okay, but the sound is quiet. The volume reaches 20, but if there is background noise, it is very difficult to hear even with headphones.
