Review on ๐ŸŽง Renewed Powerbeats MWNV2LL/A: Black High-Performance Wireless Bluetooth Headphones by Harry Love

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Reliable earbuds, excellent connection with Apple devices

First of all, as refurbished earbuds they work great. I don't see any degradation in battery life with the new ones and they work 100% flawlessly. However, I'm MUCH less pleased with the fact that my pair was either gnawed by a small animal, briefly thrown down a garbage chute, or possibly prodded by a bird: Pretty obvious indentations on three sides of the main body. left earpiece. But again, they work (apparently) perfectly, so my complaint is only related to the aesthetics and the total openness of the seller, no comments on the manufacturer. In terms of functionality: the easy and reliable connection of these headphones with Apple devices. is a revelation. I've only had third-party Bluetooth devices before, never Apple's own accessories, and it really is a different level of connectivity. This is especially noticeable on Zoom calls, where these headphones seem to have significantly more "bandwidth" than any third-party headphones I've used. I often use Spotify to play soft instrumental music in the background during long Zoom calls just to calm myself, which seemed to cause lag on the third-party headphones I used, but switching to those fixed those issues instantly. So what I've experienced in the past as wifi/internet connection issues may actually be related to my headphones. who knew These powerbuds are much better in this regard, they connect very quickly and reliably, and switch between Apple devices with ease. Very high ratings in this regard. These headphones sound pretty good for casual listening as far as the headphones go (they're not reference monitors; they should have reasonable standards), very clear and flat frequency response, nothing that sticks out and digs into your ear. eardrums. I've been told that the microphone's voice quality on calls is pretty decent. Overall they sound pretty reasonable for the price - I've heard a lot worse. Notable: Probably due to the nature of my ears, I can't get a good seal off the tips without *really* crushing them, which is about as uncomfortable as you can possibly imagine. Not a big deal for everyday use - and I'd say it's a lot safer to have noise from the outside world if you wear them outside - but if you want a really isolated noisy environment (I see that as a problem on airplanes, for example) you *may* have problems with it. As for comfort: I have somewhat idiosyncratic ear canals and only one of the included ear tips is anywhere remotely comfortable, and even that is a bit tedious with prolonged use. If I use them for hours on end for days, my ears definitely hurt a little. Again, this is unique to everyone and I've only found one pair of headphones so far that actually fit comfortably out of the box; Your mileage may vary and aftermarket tips are an option I want to look into. Headphones -04 are VERY comfortable to wear with excellent noise isolation. Just forget it.) One more word on fit: the ear loop makes these things *perfectly* safe to wear. I don't think anything other than physically grabbing the cord between the earbuds will cause them to unexpectedly fall out. And for those of you wondering, I can also comfortably wear glasses/sunglasses (even some with chunky Wayfarer-style temples) with these headphones. Again good grades in this category. (By the way, the trick I use to put them on with one hand is to first rotate them forward about 90ยฐ from their normal wearing position and insert the tip into the canal in a downward and inward motion by use a pair of fingers to use them. Tuck the loop behind your top ear, then twist the earbud back to place the tip in the canal. There's a learning curve, but it's *possible*.) Overall, I like it me really, with a few caveats. Their lightness and safety when worn and their superior functionality are convincing by far and outweigh the problem of imperfect comfort. puppy.
